Namazgah Mosque

This is another beautiful mosque in Goa that was constructed by Mughal ruler Akbar. It is situated on a hillside in Bicholim. The tomb of Hazrat Abdullah Khan Shahid lies in the Mosque and was constantly visited by many kings and rulers. One of them was Sambhaji a Maratha King, who prayed for victory of Goa against the Portuguese during the battle.
